USING SCHOOL CHOICE TO UNLOCK YOUR SCIENTIST'S POTENTIAL
Become a scientist with our research methods program using Step-Up for Students and other Scholarshi
At Eye of A Scientist, we offer a unique program where students are introduced to the fundamentals of research methods across various science disciplines. Throughout the year we discuss various abstract science topics and bring them to life using simple materials. Students are also exposed to various laboratory tools that will help develop their fine motor skills and teamwork in a laboratory setting. Over the course of the year, students learn various research methods skills as they master the purpose of each tool they use.
Eye of a Scientist is an approved direct vendor for Step-Up For Students FES-UA and PEP Scholarships. Follow the following steps to register for Eye of a Scientist's 2026/2027 program and use Step-Up funding to pay for the semester.
1. FUNDED: Make sure that funding status has been reached and there is enough money available in your EMA account for each student.
- Complete the registration form on the Class Registration tab within the Eye of a Scientist website to ensure student is signed up and has taken one of the limited spots available. In the payment section of the registration form, please write "Step-Up PEP/FES-UA."
- Head over to SUFS.org and sign one your EMA portal to use funds in the Marketplace.. Search for provider Eye of a Scientist and select one of the locations. Select the $245, 8 classes during the Fall 2025 semester for each student. You may add the approved $20 program t-shirt item to your cart. Unfortunately, the 10% sibling discount can't be used if this form of payment is used.
- Submit the program request to Step-Up and briefly send an email with the full name of your child to Info@EyeofaScientist.org to complete registration and invoice Step-Up on our end.
2. NOT YET FUNDED: If funding is not available, then payment must be out-of-pocket and reimbursement request must be submitted after funding is received.
- Complete the registration form on the Class Registration tab within the Eye of a Scientist website to ensure student is signed up and has taken one of the limited spots available. Choose out-of-pocket payment option and you will be mailed 2 options to complete payment and registration. One of the options will have an added processing fee. If parent chooses payment option with added processing fee, the invoice will reflect this price.
- Choose the invoice option for reimbursement in the registration and please send an email with the full name of your child to Info@EyeofaScientist.org to received a detailed invoice to submit along with a copy of your credit card statement.
3. OTHER SCHOLARSHIPS (like AAA): Other scholarships often work using a reimbursement method. Please indicate "out o pocket" payment option, and the need of an invoice for reimbursement in registration form. Parent will be sent an email with payment options to email used in registration form. If parent chooses payment option with added processing fee, the invoice will reflect this price.
